The Start of Autumn Workout

Good Morning, my friends! I hope everyone had a great week last week. The post this week will talk about one of the best seasons in Minnesota, Autumn, which started this past Thursday. The post will include some of my favorite Autumnal activities and my workout schedule for this week. As much as I hate to see summer end, the Fall in MN is a fantastic time of the year. To kick off the new week on the positive, this is The Workout of the Week. This is The Start of Autumn Workout.

Autumn in MN

Autumn in Minnesota is a beautiful time of the year. The weather is very nice. The leaves on the trees start turning brilliant colors. The Sunsets are gorgeous. Those pesky summertime mosquitoes are less pesky! Autumn is just a great time for an outdoors lover in MN!

My Favorite Outdoor Autumn Activities

One of my favorite activities in Autumn is hiking or rucking on nature trails.

Mushroom foraging is also great this time of year – like this Lion’s Mane that I found. This is the first one I have found in the wild! So cool.

Autumn is a perfect time for Disc Golf in Minnesota too!

Of course, the “Footballlll Sundays” are also in play! I love to start a Fall Sunday with a hike on the trails, make some grub in my Instant Pot, and then spend the rest of the day relaxing and watching football.

Speaking of Food

Speaking of food for Football Sunday, today I am making some pulled pork in the Instant Pot. It’s gonna be GOOOOD! 🙂

On To The Workout

Mon, Wed, Fri

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I will be doing a spin bike video like this one from the Global Cycling Network’s YouTube Channel.

Tues, Thurs, Sat

Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday I will be doing my shadowboxing Tabata interval workout with my weighted gloves – 3 Tabata rounds, and then following that with one round of the Heavy Sandbag Tabata workout.

Every Morning

Every morning I will be doing a Yoga video workout like the one below from Yoga With Adriene. I will be following that with 15 minutes of trying to practice mediation.
