Good morning my friends! I hope everyone had a great week and weekend. To kick off the new week on the positive, this is The Workout of the Week from GoodAttitudeFood.com. This is the Walking in the Fall Workout.
Coming Up…
Coming up in the post, I write about the best activity in Minnesota, walking in the Fall. Honestly, the post is pretty light other than that. I am doing more of a recovery week this week. I gave myself a home-hair cut. My homie P and I took a day trip to Mankato on Saturday for Disc Golf. Aaand The MN Vikes sure look terrible… 🙁

Pics of the Week
Before we get too far, you know there is a new pics of the week video to check out!
The Post…
The post this week is pretty light. I am taking it a bit easy on the workouts and enjoying some recovery. I spent my Saturday on a random day trip with my homie P, follow him @msp2081 on Insta. We decided to randomly take a day trip down to Mankato and play Land of Memories. Then we met up with our bro’s son who is going to school in Kato and we got some tacos with him. P and I then stopped in St Peter to play the course. First hole, gorgeous! Every hole after, so much tall grass and such narrow fairways that the course was impossible to play. I lost a (burner) disc on hole 3 on a blind dogleg drive. The tall grass was so thick!! We toughed it out through 6 and then gave up. We just walked the rest of the course and threw a few putts. Sooo, my Saturday was spent on a day road trip, and most of my writing time was consumed there. In consequence, the post this week is pretty light!
Home Hair Cut!
After P and I got home from our Mankato trip, I decided to give myself a haircut. I have been cutting my own hair for a few years. I am great with the clippers and can do a pretty competent “bald-fade”. My scissors skills on the other hand, sketchy at best!
Due to my poor scissors skills, I have let the top grow since March and just done an undercut-fade on the sides and back.
Like many things, I learned how to fade my hair watching YouTube videos!
Tri-Fold Mirror
I use a tri-fold mirror called “The Self-Cut System”. The mirror can be hung on a door. The mirror gives a 360 view of your head so you can actually see your entire head. This mirror is the best home hair-cut tool.

Wahl Clipper
I just use a cheap Wahl Clipper. I have two. One is for parts. One is for cuts.
Cut and Q-Beard
Not my best work, but in the times of “The Rona”, it’ll do! Check out that gnarly Quarantine Beard! :{)}

Solvitur Ambulando
If you ever read the post, you should understand that I walk, every day. Walking is one of the best ways to just feel good! In doing research for the site I came across one of my favorite quotes. It’s an old Latin phrase and I quote it often. It’s kind of part of my “code”. The phrase translates to “It is solved by walking”.
“Solvitur Ambulando!”
Latin phrase meaning “It is solved by walking”.
Walking in the Fall in MN
I love every season in MN, but Fall is super great! It is one of my favorite seasons to do some “Solvitur Ambulando-ing”.
The weather could not be better most of the time. The trees start changing colors and are just gorgeous. Fall in MN is probably the best time to just be a walker!
Disc

Fall in MN is also great for disc golf! … Like there is a bad time for Disc?
The Fall weather is pleasant, the trees are beautiful, and by mid-to-late Fall the deep underbrush at many parks starts to thin out. Fall is awesome for discing in MN!
Up The Steps This Week
This week I am going to up the step goal from the normal 7k steps on at least 4 days, to 10k steps at least 4 days this week.
Yoga Videos
I will also be doing a yoga video on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Just picking a rando. Probably Yoga With Adriene, Manflow Yoga, and DDPY.
Break from other stuff
I will be taking a bit of a break from the other normal workout stuff this week and doing a bit more of a recovery. I will probably try to get a day bike ride in, get in a set or two of intervals with the sandbag, and maybe some other stuff, but I want to take a good time off this week for some recovery for once. First recovery week in a while! …
Wrap It Up
Ok Bruh, it’s about time to wrap it up. That’s all I have this week. I hope you all have an awesome week. Thanks so much for reading!
