Hello My friends! I hope everyone had a good week and a great holiday weekend. To kick off the new week on the positive, this is the Workout of the Week, from GoodAttitudeFood.com. This is The I Ripped My Disc Golf Bag (using it as kettlebell) Workout.
Pics of the week…
Before we get too far – here is the Pics of the Week video for this past week. Check out all of the Pics of Week vidoes on the YouTube Channel!
Disc Golf Bag Kettlebell…
So most of this week I was using my disc golf bag like a kettlebell. It was working as a great FIIT workout and warm-up before discing.
Then, to my horror… While using my bag like a kettlebell…
I ripped my bag!!!
*GHASTS from the audience…
I know, right. My Disc Golf bag is like a part of me!
It’s not a big rip. But it looks like the type of rip that will spread. I may need to look into a new bag.
I also should probably just get a kettlebell. Then I can do those workouts right, instead of wrecking my disc bag. Silly me!
What the Workout Was Going To Be…
The workout was going to be a version of “FIIT Disc Golf” I had been doing all week. FIIT Disc Golf is like HIIT Disc Golf – sprint to your throw, ten-second break, repeat till you make it, jog to the next hole, then go again. FIIT Disc Golf is that, but jogging instead of sprinting. Plus at every Tee, you use your disc bag like a kettlebell for a twenty-second hard interval of a kettlebell move. I did that a few times this week. It was a fun workout. Even in the heat, I didn’t mind it. That was going to be the workout for this post.
Then today, I was doing my trial run of the workout at Moir, and I ripped a hole in my Disc Bag.

The workout included jogging, disc golf, and station exercises with a kettlebell. It was going to be a good workout!

Ripping my bag made me realize I should just buy a real kettlebell instead of wrecking my bag.

So… Until I get a Kettlebell. Which I will be shopping for right after this post. I know, this is kind of a sell out… But I am going to do the FTB Dumbell Workout.
The dumbells are good to use. I try not to put them down durring the work set. I think it’s really helping my grip strength – which is good for Disc Golf. Plus doing DDPY is really good. And the shadowboxing stuff is like moving meditation. My friends, it’s been working so I am going back to it!
In case you missed the FTB Dumbell post, here it is again!
That’s All…
That’s all I have this week. There would be more, but I went over to my homie P’s – @msp2081-on Insta – house on Sunday night, instead of writing another post after my disc bag workout resulted in a tear in my bag. We took out the MVP Black Hole that P and I bought, tossed some putting practice. And… The FTB Dumbell workout is such a good one, I am cool with keeping it rollin’ a few days! Until I get a kettlebell.

… Then… I wonder how crazy people will think I am if I am running on a disc course while holding a kettlebell… We will probably find out as soon as my next Amzn order shows up! I digress…
Thank you so much for reading! Thanks for DDPY! Thanks for Disc Golf! Thanks for yoga! Thanks to Phil Daru videos for inspiring some of the recent workout stuff! Phil’s videos are textbook.
